Help and Advice

Boundary violations caused by forms of discrimination such as sexism and racism as well as discriminatory behavior cannot always be clearly identified or named. It often takes time to recognize a situation as discriminatory and to find a way to respond appropriately.

There are contact persons available at the university hospital as well as at the university or the medical faculty with whom experiences can be shared and who, as uninvolved third parties, can give a classification of what has happened. If the person concerned has the feeling that sexual harassment is occurring, proceedings can, if desired, be initiated in accordance with the action plan for sexual harassment and stalking in the workplace of the university hospital.

In addition, in November 2020, the Ministry of Science, Research and Art in Baden-Württemberg (MWK) appointed a trusted lawyer who is also available to all members of the university and the university hospital as an independent and confidential contact person and provides free advice for all those affected , but also for superiors and managers.

If desired, the advice can also be provided anonymously.
